2017 is going down in history as the year I quit “cowboy coding”.
If you’re not familiar with the term, A cowboy coder is a website developer that makes changes to a clients website without testing on a local server or staging environment. This can sometimes lead to disastrous consequences. I’ve developed on a local server for some time but I’ve recently added a staging environment to my hosting services. This allows you as my client to view changes or makeovers to your website from anywhere in the world without affecting your live site in any way. I give you a temporary web address to view your requested changes and when the changes are completed to your liking, I make a couple of mouse clicks and your new website is live. No interruption of website or emails. To learn more about this process give me a call- Larry Bartley, 325-647-6066.
