| Since converting to 100%
high quality digital equipment, I tend to make a lot of photos when I go
on assignment. I capture all images in the Nikon "RAW"
format. This is a professional graphic format which captures much more
detail than the standard Jpeg format used by most digital cameras. These
files require special software to edit and convert into images that can
be viewed on the internet or processed into photographs. For a typical Senior
or Engagement session it's not uncommon to create 2 hundred or more
images. For a large wedding, I sometimes capture 6 to 8 hundred
images. Of these many will be duplicates with a slightly different
exposure or angles. Some will be out of focus or people will have their
eyes closed. I will use my judgement to "weed out"
undesirable or unflattering images before I convert the unedited
images to online proofs for your approval. When you select the number
images you want to order, I start the editing process to adjust color,
contrast, and exposure, then crop the image to the most appealing
composition. I will provide high resolution Jpeg files of all the
photos chosen for your package, to be used any way you choose, along
with a signed copyright release. Due to the amount of time it takes to professionally edit these files, I cannot edit all the images I make unless you purchase all of them. I will however provide high resolution unedited Jpeg files of All your images (minus my selection of rejects) on a disk. These files will bear a ghosted watermark (Unedited image. Not suitable for printing) as indicated by the photos on the left. Images will be provided on a CD or DVD, your choice. |
