Fees and Prices

Because
I love to travel just as much as I love photographing weddings,
fees for destination weddings are basically the same price as
local weddings. Couples planning a wedding in Jamaica, Cancun or
similar destinations find they can utilize my services for 4 or
5 days for the same price a local photographer charges for 4 or
5 hours. Typically you would have me from when you board your
departure flight until your "Trash The Dress" session
the day after your wedding. When I book a destination wedding I only charge my
regular fee plus actual travel expenses. Couples find this can
often be greatly reduced if my travel accommodations are booked
at the same time as the wedding party.

I
started learning my craft in the early 50's when I got a "Brownie
Hawkeye" for Christmas. Because these were the days when color
photographs were an emerging technology and no one I knew could
afford them, it was a black and white world for a long time. A few
years later I saved up to buy an Argus C3. It wasn't a SLR but it
was an almost "professional grade" camera. It had adjustable
F-Stops and shutter speeds and that's when I started learning how
to control light.

I've spent my life in the printing and
graphic design business and always pursued photography as a hobby.
I'm recently retired and now have more time to spend with my first
love, creating beautiful imagery. For the most part, I work out of
my home and the trunk of my car and frequently use my clients
location to work. Not maintaining a studio and other expenses
normally associated with a business allows me to keep my overhead
at nearly nothing. I'm happy to pass this savings on to my growing
base of clients.
